Elevation Worship, one of the most influential worship groups in the world is part of Elevation Church, led by Pastor Steven Furtick. All of the members serve at the multisite church, which is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. They’ve recently released their newest album “Paradoxology.”
The band began as the worship and music division of Elevation Church in 2007. This was just one year after the church opened. Pastor Stephen Furtick, Wade Joye and Christ Brown have led the band since the beginning. In the early years the band released four independent albums. The global audience did not notice the band yet. However, they did manage to sign a deal at Essential Records at that time.
2011 would mark a new milestone for the band. Under the Essential Records label they released their first studio album “For the Honor.” This was their first album that had success on the Christian Charts, including a No. 1 spot on Heatseekers and great results on Billboard.
Many studio albums followed with much success and they’ve even started to release albums under their own record label. Their 2018 album release “Hallelujah Here Below” is a great example of that with multiple Grammy and Dove awards nominations.
Elevation Worship’s newest album “Paradoxology” is an intimate worship album that really captures the atmosphere of the inner room well. Their newest gem is a refreshing and more contemplative take on their recent hits. The songs in this album are therefore extremely suitable for setting a fitting mood during your quiet time. You can now listen to Elevation Worship on Maasbach Radio, iTunes and Spotify.← BackNext →
