Jason Gray is noted as one of the most compelling songwriters in the Christian music industry. He has had a very turbulent childhood with challenges that would shake the faith of many. However, God saw his situation and lifted him mightily up into the music ministry that he has today. This is all captured in his newest album “Order, Disorder, Reorder,” which will be released in three parts over 2019.
Jason Gray was born and raised in Minnesota. His musical journey began with singing in bar bands for a long time. During his childhood, he faced many challenges like living in a broken family with an abusive and criminal stepfather. His personal situation also caused the development of a speech handicap, which resulted in insecurity regarding using his musical gift. However, when his mother gave her heart to Jesus, it all turned around for his family. Jason Gray also gave his heart to Jesus in his youth and he started to write songs with a deep foundation in the word.
It was quickly noted that his songs had something special and it eventually resulted in a record label deal with Centricity Records in 2006. From this moment on, he released many songs that ended up in Christian music charts. He also had notable collaborations over time with major artists like Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Sanctus Real. ASCAP even awarded his song ‘Good to Be Alive’ with the “Most Performed Song Award” in 2012.
Jason Gray has now released his newest EP ‘Order.’ This EP is one of the three parts of his newest album “Order, Disorder, Reorder,” which will be released over 2019. He mentioned that this album is all about the transformation and process of the human spirit when it starts to live for God. The five songs of this EP perfectly reflect on the foundational wisdom for spiritual growth. Listen to the songs of Jason Gray’s newest EP ‘Order’ on Spotify, iTunes and Maasbach Radio.← BackNext →
