The MAP Band is back with a strong, fresh and renewed sound! The band is touring again with uptempo favorites like ‘We will go’, ‘So Happy’ and ‘Heaven’s lights’ in entirely new remixed versions. But they’re also bringing their newest songs like “180 Degrees” and “Game Changer.” Their next destination is Indonesia, where they will perform in churches and other youth events.
Micha Maasbach, front man of the MAP band, is more thrilled than ever. In the last couple of years the band has experimented with finding a new sound that could captivate new people in the church and far beyond. Their mission has always stayed the same: showing people that living with and for God is the best choice you can ever make. And it’s fun too!
Over the years, the band has released several studio singles like “180 Degrees” and “Game Changer.” These releases showed the interesting journey in finding their renewed sound. It proved to be a successful decision because the band recently concluded a tour across Asia in exotic countries like South Korea and India. The best part was that their new sound proved to be a smash hit.
Equipping others to worship God is also very important for the band. Recently they’ve started publishing their chords and tutorials for some of their songs through social media, as they’re preparing for their next tour to kick off. The MAP Band will play in churches and conferences all over Indonesia in June. The country is familiar to the band, because they’ve toured there a few years ago, where they played at big events and churches with thousands of youth. The band still has very fond memories of Indonesia and they’re really looking forward to let them hear their new sound. As Micha Maasbach puts it: “We’re gonna sound totally different, so be ready!”
