Meredith Andrews is without a doubt one of the more experienced female worship vocalists in the industry. With a track record of music releases for over 15 years, she has shown much talent and anointing regarding her ministry of worship leading. She has now released her first live worship album “Faith and Wonders,” but how does it stand to today’s standards?
Meredith grew up in Wilson, North Carolina. It was quite clear early in her life that she was called for the music ministry, when she started singing at the age of six. She spent her whole youth at Christian schools and colleges where she could train her musical talent to reach its full potential. It all resulted in a Dove Award in 2011 for her song “How Great is the Love,” which was chosen as the Worship Song of the Year.
Andrews is now associated as one of the worship leaders at the Harvest Bible Chapel, a megachurch with multiple campuses that are all located in the Chicago metropolitan area. In her role as worship leader for this ministry, she has released multiple albums with the Vertical Worship Band. However, she still had enough time to release her own albums as a solo vocalist. Her newest and first live worship album “Faith and Wonder” is a fine example of that.
Her album combines inspiring and relatable lyrics with touching instrumentation to support a contemplative atmosphere of worship with much quality. The sound is familiar, but still refreshing and modern. Listen now to “Meredith Andrews” on Maasbach Radio, Spotify and iTunes.← BackNext →
