Jerusha grew up in a loving Christian family, where she learned everything about being a Christian.
As she got older, Jerusha dealt with a lot of rejection and insecurities. She allowed for these experiences to make her heart bitter and closed. She built walls between herself and the people around her. At one point it got so bad that she wanted to leave her life in church and life with her family behind, and go her own way.
‘The devil put lies in my head and I allowed them to stay there’
As emotions were raging, Jerusha needed to make a choice: to go her own way or to stay and trust God. As she was getting ready to leave, she prayed one last time: ‘God, I can’t take this war in my mind anymore’. At that moment, the song ‘The war is over’ by Bethel music started playing and Jerusha immediately felt the presence of God in her room. God came and brought peace to Jerusha’s mind and heart. In that moment, He gave her the strength to shake off negative thoughts, bitterness and hurt.
This weekend, Jerusha will pray for you on Maasbach Radio if you are experiencing the same emotions. We believe that her prayer will touch your life! Listen to this special prayer every hour, on the half hour on maasbachradio.com or on our free radio app.← BackNext →
