Confidence Boosters

Have you ever heard of affirmations? Affirmations are short, powerful sentences that declare something as true — often about yourself, your purpose, or your future — to help reinforce a positive mindset. But did you know that this is actually a principle from the word of God? Life and death is in the power of the tongue! (Proverbs 18:21)

Affirmations are declarations of faith — spoken truths aligned with God’s Word — that remind you who you are in Christ and what He has promised.

So speak these truths over yourself, out loud! They are all based on the word of God and are true for the children of God!

I am walking in God’s divine purpose.

Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

I am wise and make good decisions.

James 1:5
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

I am forgiven and free from my past.

2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

I am prosperous and live in abundance.

Psalm 1:3
“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”

I am filled with peace and joy.

Romans 15:13
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

I am a child of God—loved and chosen.

Ephesians 1:4-5
“…just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world… having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will…”

I am becoming the best version of myself.

Philippians 1:6
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

I am disciplined and focused.

2 Timothy 1:7
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

I am qualified and equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:17
“That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

I am confident and courageous.

Joshua 1:9
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Overcoming Every Fiery Dart with Biblical Truth

Every believer faces battles. The Bible describes them as the fiery darts of the enemy: thoughts, fears, temptations, lies, and discouragements that seek to weaken our faith and draw us away from God. Yet God has not left us defenseless. He has given us His Word as a weapon of truth.

When temptation comes, there is a promise. When fear arises, there is a promise. When sorrow, anxiety, injustice, or spiritual opposition try to overwhelm us, God’s Word speaks a greater truth. These Scriptures are reminders of who God is, what He has promised, and how we can stand firm in every season.

Use these verses to pray, meditate, declare, and fight back against every fiery dart with the truth of God’s Word:

‘Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.’

‘“Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.’
