GOD’S GLORY REVEALED TOWARD US

Gods glory is His greatness displayed in a manifestation of Himself! The Psalmist says that God’s greatness is unsearchable. Throughout the entire Bible we see the countless manifestations of this Kingdom, power and glory revealed through the mighty, supernatural miracles of God, even in the midst of the most humanly impossible, hopeless, dire situations and circumstances. God said to Abraham “Is there anything too hard for the Lord?” And Jesus told His disciples, ”With men it is impossible, but not with God, for with God all things are possible.” I am reminded of the beautiful hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” which says, “O God, my Father, there is no shadow of turning with Thee. Thou changest not. Thy compassions, they fail not. As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.” The God Who created the heavens and the earth and performed mighty miracles and wonders throughout the ages of history, is the same God Who lives in us and Who is with us always, even to the end of time. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever and is still willing and able to demonstrate His glory towards us today!

As you join Regina, our Blessing Family and myself for these 8 Days of Prayer, take heart as you pray, stand in faith, trust God and rejoice that “Goliaths Are Coming Down” also in your life and circumstances and we will see the glory of God! Let us be grateful for the victories that were already gained and pray for a renewal of strength, an empowerment of the Holy Spirit, to continue to stand our ground and see the salvation of the Lord, so that Jesus will be glorified!

Have you ever heard of affirmations? Affirmations are short, powerful sentences that declare something as true — often about yourself, your purpose, or your future — to help reinforce a positive mindset. But did you know that this is actually a principle from the word of God? Life and death is in the power of the tongue! (Proverbs 18:21)

Affirmations are declarations of faith — spoken truths aligned with God’s Word — that remind you who you are in Christ and what He has promised.

So speak these truths over yourself, out loud! They are all based on the word of God and are true for the children of God!

I am walking in God’s divine purpose.

Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

I am wise and make good decisions.

James 1:5
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

I am forgiven and free from my past.

I am prosperous and live in abundance.

I am becoming the best version of myself.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

I am disciplined and focused.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

I am qualified and equipped for every good work.

I am confident and courageous.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

It’s snowing in the Netherlands! It’s been a while since we’ve been seen multiple days and layers of snow on the streets of The Hague – the beautiful city of Maasbach Radio. Looking outside the window of the radio studio and seeing streets of white, reminded me of how amazing our God is. I love singing the old Dutch hymn that says:

Whiter than the snow
Whiter than the snow
Wash me in the blood of the Lamb
And I shall be whiter than snow

Snow is actually mentioned multiple times in the Bible. Let’s look at five Biblical principles we can learn from… snow!

Purity & Cleansing
Snow represents spiritual purity and cleansing from sin. Just as snow is white and spotless, God promises to cleanse us completely when we repent.
“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.”
— Isaiah 1:18 (NKJV)

God’s Power & Sovereignty
Snow reminds us that creation obeys God’s command. He controls the natural world, demonstrating His absolute authority.
“For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth.’”
— Job 37:6 (NKJV)

Provision & Faithfulness
Snow is part of God’s provision for the earth—watering the ground so it can later bring forth fruit. Likewise, God’s Word always accomplishes His purpose.
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven… So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth.”
— Isaiah 55:10–11 (NKJV)

Humility Before God
Snow can halt human activity and remind us how small we are compared to God’s wisdom and design. It calls us to humility and reverence.
“Have you entered the treasury of snow, or have you seen the treasury of hail?”
— Job 38:22 (NKJV)

Rest & Renewal
Snow often brings stillness and quiet, reflecting God’s invitation to rest in Him and trust His work, even when things seem paused.
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)
